How many security cameras does my Denver business need?⌄
It depends on your facility layout, entry points, and what you need to cover. We do a free site survey where we walk your space and recommend camera placement for full coverage with no blind spots. Most small offices need 4-8 cameras. Larger facilities, warehouses, or multi-entry buildings typically need 12-24+.
What is the difference between IP cameras and CCTV?⌄
Traditional CCTV (analog cameras) sends a video signal over coaxial cable to a DVR. IP cameras transmit digital video over standard network cable (Cat6) to an NVR, offering much higher resolution, easier remote access, and more flexibility. For any new installation, we recommend IP cameras. We can also upgrade existing CCTV systems to IP.
Can I view my business security cameras remotely?⌄
Yes — we configure remote viewing as part of every installation. You can view live and recorded footage from your phone, tablet, or computer from anywhere with an internet connection. We set this up, test it, and make sure it actually works before we leave.
How long is footage stored?⌄
We size your storage for 30, 60, or 90 days of retention depending on your requirements. Storage capacity depends on your camera count, resolution, and whether you use motion-triggered or continuous recording. We calculate this as part of the design process so your NVR is properly sized from day one.
Do you service existing security camera systems?⌄
Yes. We service, repair, and upgrade existing systems regardless of who originally installed them. Whether you need a single camera replaced, remote access configured, NVR upgraded, or a full system assessment, we can help.
